Scanning

Document and ID scanning: a usable scan straight from the camera

Aim at the page and the app finds the edges and flattens the perspective for a clean scan. ID cards can be watermarked, signed and identity-checked on the same screen, and results can be emailed or converted to Word / PDF.

  • Document scanning: multi-page capture, auto cropping and perspective correction
  • OCR: turns scans into editable text, Chinese and English mixed
  • ID scanning: default watermark “invalid without a stated purpose”; signature, GPS, time
  • Identity check first: ID scans are produced only after it passes, nothing is stored
  • Email scans straight from the system mail app, with no third-party relay
